I am an art director and designer living in Manchester, England.

Over the past ten years I have worked around the world at agencies large and small, I have worked on everything from multinational million-dollar accounts to local non-profits and have relished the new and varied challenges that each has brought.

I have created fully integrated campaigns - guiding projects from client briefing through to initial ideas and scamps all the way to finished, executed and sustained work.

I'm always hungry to learn and improve. I have a keen eye for composition, layout and typography.

My main goal is simple, I want to produce beautiful, smart, functional work for good people.

As a born Yorkshireman I love the outdoors. I love hiking, fishing and enjoying a good pint at the end of it all. I have run The Vintage Hiking Depot. since 2011, a place I can share the stories and practices of yesteryear. I try to do as much hands-on research as I can; tying flies, cooking, blending tea, making gear and of course walking. 

I'm a voracious reader and love to travel. I have relished my time living abroad in Australia and the USA where I picked up a love of ice-hockey, rugby-league, cheap beer and expensive wine.
