Greenpeace wanted to call out Apple, Microsoft and Amazon for using coal to power their “cloud.” We didn’t want to castigate them – after all, many of us love their products – just guide them in the right direction.

Three online videos took a lighthearted approach to highlight this serious concern and, within a month, Greenpeace could boast 250,000 signatures on its Clean Our Cloud petition, pressuring Apple to commit to switching its data centers to 100% renewable energy.
